With nearly two decades of progressive experience in emergency medicine, otolaryngology, and clinical education, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a calm, confident approach to every clinical setting.

Amber earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2016, following a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McKendree University and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Rend Lake College. Her training included extensive clinical rotations in family practice, pediatrics, women’s health, and health promotion. Throughout her academic journey, she was recognized on the Dean’s List and graduated with honors.
Currently, Amber serves as an Advanced Practice Nurse/Family Nurse Practitioner at Midwest Sinus, Sleep, and Allergy in Mount Vernon and Shiloh, Illinois, where she specializes in medical ENT care and builds trusting relationships through compassionate, evidence-based practice. She also works PRN in the Emergency Departments of SSM Health Mount Vernon and Centralia, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to manage both acute and complex cases.
Previously, she served as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency and Cardiac Step-Down Units at St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital and as a Clinical Instructor at Rend Lake College, guiding future nurses with an emphasis on patient safety, skill development, and professional integrity.
Amber maintains certifications in ACLS, PALS, BLS, and ATLS and is credentialed as an Emergency Communications Registered Nurse (ECRN). She holds active Illinois Advanced Practice Nurse and Registered Nurse licenses.
Beyond her professional life, Amber is a proud mother of four — three sons (ages 24, 19, and 15) and one daughter (2 years old). She cherishes spending time with her family, friends, and fiancé and best friend since fourth grade. She enjoys the companionship of her beloved animals — Athena, Capone, Acorn, and Jax. Her caring nature extends from her patients to her home, where empathy, laughter, and love are always at the heart of everything she does.
